Sorry the site was down guys. I had to take it off line as I worked on a serious virus. Hopefully, things will go well now, but , give it a few days to be sure.

Hi John, Yah, it was quite a game, I was actually up 3 pawns in the white side of a Gruenfeld, certainly should have won, but Doug outplayed me in time pressure and came up with an amazing windmill/mating net.

Great results for Keith, Matt & Doug and Mike. I'd like to see Doug's Swindle over Bob.

KW doesn't appear to have aged much since I last saw him some years ago. Can you post any games? As I recall, a rather Fischeresque approach, similar to both Bailey and Pushkedra. Say hello tohim for me if you can

Keith has beaten up Hamilton once again. When are we gonna suck it up and stop this guy?

I've now added private message feature. That means you can send a message to other site members.

Its currently the fifth box down on the right hand side.

Thanks Mark I'll keep that in mind.

I want to tell everyone there's been about 1148 hits on this site so far, so its been quite a success. I'd like to encourage many of you who are visiting this site to also post something in the forums and in the comment boxes.

Its currently very easy to get a membership on the site just go over to the Welcome/login box on the right margin and click on "sign up". After filling out a very simple form youll be signed up.

I just took a look at your new website.
Great Job.

If you ever want an event listed - I can post it for you on the "Calendar" for the Greater Toronto Chess League, which is also used for the Chess Federation of Canada website - TOURNAMENTS Section.

Keep up the great work!

Yours in Chess,

I am going to do my best to put a couple articles a week on world and club championships; but, it would be greatly appreciated if others could also post stuff either on the forum or using "submit news" feature. This way we have 20 sources of information instead of just one.

This looks like it will be a great site and I'll be able to keep track of Club Championship.

For those of you interested in investments check out the new investment forum I've created on our forum page. You might also want to speak to Joe about holding informal "investment club" meetings before chess. As for your question, Bob, sorry don't know who number two is..
bullet Bob Gillanders on Wednesday 06 September 2006 - 16:33:26
Good work on the website Garvin. So, who is #2 ?
bullet Bob Gillanders on Thursday 31 August 2006 - 00:19:12
